Position: Communication Designer

We're smarter than we look. Really.

We could use some help with making ourselves look better. Less PC. More Apple. Armstrong has an opening for an intermediate to senior communication designer to support our brand and communications vision. The role requires a professional with a strong understanding of branding, corporate identity and marketing communications who demonstrates a high sensibility for font usage, imagery, colour, and layout. The core responsibilities involve conceptual development of visual communication pieces such as brochures, case studies, posters, presentations, and occasionally advertisements. There's also some design work for video and online formats.

The ideal candidate has a degree in graphic or communication design, a minimum of three years of solid work experience, and a thick skin, because the role is not just technical. We need someone who's personable, energetic, open-minded and able to interact with a wide array of Armstrong staff as well as supplier personnel and add value on a variety of projects. You’ll also manage related content (images, illustrations, text, etc.) and oversee external partners and suppliers.

It comes down to this. Make us look good. Translate our corporate identity principles into communications materials that are creative and consistent.

We make heating and cooling solutions, but we’re all about energy savings and carbon reduction. Join a great team and make a big difference.
